Pet Groomer

We are looking for a talented Pet Groomer to join our team. Is that you?

The pet groomer is to perform all grooming-related duties necessary to ensure that pets are neat, clean, and look their best. The pet groomer’s responsibilities include bathing animals of various sizes and temperaments, trimming, clipping, or shaving hair/fur, and removing matted hair. You should also be able to ensure that grooming tools and equipment are in good working condition.

To be successful as a pet groomer, you should be able to comply with pet owners’ instructions as well as accommodate any special requests that they may have. Ultimately, a top-notch Pet Groomer will treat all animals with the utmost love and care.

✅ Your Tasks

  • Dematting and detangling hair as required.
  • Bathing, conditioning, and drying pets.
  • Trimming pets’ nails, brushing their teeth, and cleaning their ears.
  • Grooming and styling pets according to pet owners’ instructions or standard grooming styles.
  • Accommodating special requests that pet owners may have.
  • Identifying health issues in pets, such as ear infections, skin conditions, or tooth decay, and informing pet owners of these observations.
  • Ensuring that all pets are safe during the grooming process.
  • Routinely cleaning work areas.
  • Recommending suitable products to pet owners.

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Certification through the National Dog Groomer Association of America is advantageous.
  • Proven professional grooming experience.
  • Sound understanding of animal behavior.

Pet Boarder

This job requires you to look after pets (mostly dogs) at your own home. You will ensure the well-being of the pet by making sure the pet receives the required amount of exercise, food, grooming, love, and attention. You will ensure a MyPeterinarian veterinarian is notified of emergencies in an expeditious manner.

✅ Your Tasks

  • Kept in a safe environment at all times
  • Given adequate food, drink, and bedding
  • Protected from pain, suffering, injury, and disease
  • Protected in case of an emergency
  • Walked – depending on the dog’s daily exercise needs
  • Available for pick up by the owner on the last day of service
  • Submit a report to the pet owner once daily via email that includes a photo or video

  • Must live in a house/apartment where dogs are allowed

We are looking for a talented Marketing Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers, running email marketing campaigns or landing pages. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.

As a Marketing Specialist, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends, knowledge of SEO tactics to generate leads to product pages or the company website. You will also be responsible for creating certain forms of content like blog posts or infographics to aid the production of marketing campaign materials.

You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.

Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.

✅ Your Tasks

  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences, competitor offerings and demographic data.
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI

  • Create innovative marketing campaigns depending on robust data and present the recommendations to management.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients through networking and prospecting.
  • Create goals and objectives in order to approach customers through appropriate marketing channels.
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
  • Provide constructive feedback

  • Present KPIs and reports to Senior Management

Pet Care Specialist

We are looking for a talented Pet Care Specialist to join our team. Is that you? We have an exciting opportunity for a Pet Care Specialist looking to join successful pet care and veterinary services company.

By joining MyPeterinarian, you will become a part of a growing team whose aim is to transform the way we take care of pets, by making it stress and hassle-free for the pet and the pet parent alike.

✅ Your Tasks

  • Take the dog(s) on walks according to the service category booked, regardless of weather conditions
  • Conduct new customer consultations and follow the company’s introductory procedures
  • Travel to the pet’s home. Feed, give water, and play with the pet
  • Regularly keep track of which dogs were walked, how long the walks lasted, and whether any strange or abnormal observations were made
  • Transport pets to and from their homes in a safe manner
  • Clean cat litter boxes, as necessary
  • Collect pet waste and dispose of it
  • Provide fresh water and food to pets if requested by the owner
  • Take all essential procedures to guarantee the safety of the pets and others in their near area
  • Notify pet owners of any pet injuries or illnesses
  • Write a report for each pet owner to inform them how they walk went and provide at least one picture. If the service requires two visits, one report is to be sent at the end of the second visit. If the service lasts for more than one day, then one report should be sent daily.
  • Manage schedules and prioritize duties depending on customer needs
  • Attract new customers and maintain good relationships with existing customers. Send weekly or monthly activity reports to MyPeterinarian’s supervisor
  • Manage and upload content daily or weekly on the company’s cloud drive folder
  • Perform other functions on an as-needed basis
  • Be able to take pets into your home and care for them for any given period of time without issues
  • You will make sure the pets under your care will be safe without any access to anything that might harm them
  • You are ready to sleep the night at the pet owner’s home for any given period of time

  • Preferred strength for walking and supporting two medium-sized dogs.
