Born and raised in Jordan, Tarek comes from a multicultural family. He currently lives in Copenhagen after having lived in a number of major cities around the world. Having studied veterinary medicine, Tarek founded MyPeterinarian to provide quality and professional pet care and veterinary services for pets and their parents. His love for animals, big or small, is endless.

Irene holds a strong passion for internal medicine, with a primary focus on gastrointestinal disorders, kidney and urinary tract disorders. Her professional journey has spanned across Spain, her country of origin, and the United Kingdom, enriching her with extensive experience in catering to diverse international pet owners. Her unyielding commitment to excellence is evident through her consistent pursuit of advanced learning opportunities and continuous skills enhancement throughout her career.
Assistant Operational Manager & Pet Caretaker
Meet Dora! Originally from Hungary, she currently lives in the heart of Copenhagen with her boyfriend. Dora is a dedicated pet lover whose passion extends to her two cats back home, Lindzi and Naomi. Since she couldn't bring her cats with her, she finds joy in feeding pigeons from her window and spends time with animals at our Pet Quarters. When she's not doing that, she enjoys reading or watching TV shows.

Meet Martin, the economist with a passion for turning financial mess into crystal-clear, sustainable solutions for entrepreneurs. He specializes in giving leadership teams the strategic map and economic structure they need to grow, driven by a commitment to transparency and optimization. When he's not optimizing businesses, he's finding balance with his family in Slagelse: two girls, one dog, and a cat!
Groomer & Pet Caretaker
Cecilie is 27 years old and has worked as a dog groomer for six years. Originally from Roskilde, she now lives in Copenhagen with her boyfriend and their little dog, Otto. Her deep passion for dogs shines through in everything she does, and she loves combining creativity with care in her work. Cecilie often takes part in dog shows and spends a lot of her time studying and exploring everything related to dogs. Cecilie speaks both Danish and English.
Groomer & Pet Caretaker
Misty, originally from Sweden, spent her upbringing in Singapore, developing a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and a lifelong love for animals. She's a creative soul and, having professionally groomed for two years, truly values each pet individually. Misty understands that every dog and cat is unique, adapting her approach to ensure their most comfortable experience and aiming to give them the love and security they deserve. Customers often describe her as passionate and caring, and she's fluent in Swedish and English. Misty looks forward to building a trusting relationship with you and your beloved pet!
Pet Caretaker & Boarder
Veronika is a student from Ukraine, currently in her second year of studying Public Management and Administration. She speaks Ukrainian, Russian, and English, and has also studied some basic Danish. Having a deep love for animals, Veronika misses her own cat, who stayed behind in Ukraine. She is excited to bring her passion for animal care to our team and looks forward to helping ensure your pets receive the attention and love they deserve while you're away. Veronika is happy to assist with any of your pet care needs!
Pet Boarder
Meet Ionela, one of our dedicated pet sitters! Originally from Romania, she has been living in Denmark since 2016. Ionela is a singe mom with a five year old son who shares her love for animals. Their family includes a sweet baby cat, and their home is a welcoming 82 m² apartment with a lovely garden and a fenced dog park just moments away. Ionela is excited to care for your pet, ensuring they feel right at home so you can relax and enjoy your vacation.
Pet Caretaker
Quan was born in China and moved to Denmark in 2022 for her education. She has been a dog lover for over 10 years and has developed a deep affection for animals. After moving to Copenhagen, she began helping her traveling friends by taking care of their pets, including dogs, cats, and rabbits. She enjoys taking dogs on hiking trips for enrichment and believes that pets are our best friends, valuing the mutual companionship they offer. Quan has a natural affinity with animals and quickly builds trust with them. She is excited to bring her enthusiasm, experience, and love for animals to MyPeterinarian, ensuring that every pet feels cherished and loved.

Nikhil is originally from India and has been living in Copenhagen for over seven years. He works as a software developer and is passionate about nature and outdoor activities. He has a strong interest in sustainability and loves animals of all kinds, especially dogs, horses, and dolphins. Nikhil is excited to join the MyPeterinarian team and looks forward to caring for your pets as if they were his own.

Sarah hails from the U.S. and is currently completing her MSc in Environmental Engineering at DTU, with a focus on Environmental Management. With a B.A. in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth, specializing in Environmental Science, she's dedicated to sustainability and renewable energy. Sarah grew up surrounded by beloved pets—a Husky, a Maltese, a Siamese cat, and a few hamsters and fish—fostering a lifelong bond with animals of all sizes and temperaments. Known for her warmth, organization, and responsiveness, Sarah is also an avid runner and hiker, exploring Denmark's scenic landscapes while refining her Danish skills.
Pet Caretaker
Mariia has been an absolute pet lover for 27 years, three of which were in Denmark. After moving from Kyiv, Ukraine, she started attending a Danish language school and improving her English on her own. She is sure that any bad mood caused by the Danish weather can be fixed with cuddles with our beloved furry friends. She is especially fond of cats, and in childhood she was nicknamed the cat mother. Mariia loves books very much, and recently she has become addicted to huge Chinese novels. She also finds time to play modern computer games, especially if there is an opportunity to take care of animals and develop their skills. She is delighted to have joined My Petinarian, because now she can enjoy the company of pets as much as they want!
Pet-Satisfaction Supervisor
Marina, a Persian cat, was born in 2010 in Dubai and continued to live there with her parents until they all started travelling all over the world. The new surroundings gave her the required international experience needed in her job. She adds the pet perspective to the team, making sure that pets always come first and their satisfaction always guaranteed. Her role as pet-satisfaction supervisor is crucial and depends entirely on her own satisfaction of the love and care she receives.
